Letter by Milorad Markovich dated March 5, 1986 to the Israeli Consul General in The Hague on the Counter-Intelligence and Anti-Terrorist Work by S. Mitric

To Whom It May Concern.

I am taking the libery to write you in regards to Mr. Slobodan Mitric, presently c/o C. S. Korvinus, Princegracht 468, Amsterdam, Holland. (Enclosed also find copy of the recent letter from his attorney to Mr. Zlatan Stamenich in the USA).

I have personally been in contact with Mr. Slobodan Mitric for the past three (3) years. On quite a few occasions, we spoke on the telephone, on many subjects of which I reported to Attorney-at-Law, Mr. James Freedman, and contacted someone by the name of Sharon. We discussed about the said subjects in detail. My statement was written and signed as to be authentic, also, as well as a tape recorded conversation. Thereafter, the correspondence between Mr. Mitric and myself was tightly unattainable.

Recently, we were able to renew our contacts, exchanged a few letters and have had several telephone conversations. I was very much impressed with his knowledge and still am, as well as I honestly and truly believe in his integrity. As a matter of fact, I learned that after my first acknowledgement with your contacts in the United States, about 60 lbs. of high-grade plutonium is still active and that there were several killings in Holland connected with the case, as well as that a 63 year old man is in hiding with the said plutonium and Mr. Mitric is the only one to know where he is. The said plutonium has been paid in full by the Lybian (rotten) man Khadafy, one hundred million dollars. In addition, that high-ranking Government officials of Holland and Belgium are involved.

Further:

Mr. Mitric’s knowledge of the intelligence as well as counter-intelligence of that part of Europe is insurmountable, involving the interests of the USA and Israel. Mr. Mitric at one time, was training Swedish as well as Norwegian intelligence service and military also, despite that he was a fully trained agent of communist Yugoslavia, and acknowledges that that his training and intelligence gathering was only approximately 30% for Yugoslavia and 70% for the Soviet Union. And, as I remember, in one conversation, that he was involved in some training of Nato intelligence in Belgium.

Mr. Mitric deserted communist intelligence service and wanted to work for the country that preserves Democracy and Freedom. On several occasions, he had meetings with US intelligence in various countries, including one in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, Norway, Belgium, West Germany, and the most important one in Holland, on which occasion he gave the very important list of the communist espionage names, the way they operate, as well as particular areas of importance.

Finally, Mr. Mitric is facing the hardest point in his life. He’s 37 years old, he is definitely through with the communist way of life, and willing to give to the Freedom-loving countries all the information and knowledge without any material compensation or any decoration or congratulation, for one precious thing – TO BE FREE.

The Dutch government knows his knowledge and involvements of Dutch officials in bribery, conspiracy and corruption regarding the (rotten) Khadafy deal with high-grade plutonium, therefore, they are working to extradite him to communist Yugoslavia where he would be liquidated, almost on sight, without any legal proceedings, and I don’t blame them. But wouldn’t that be unrewardable damage to your country to the knowledge that he has and sure to prove 100% accurate. I am an average person, and as such, I believe this would be a great asset to the country of Israel as well as to the Free World, for which I have a great deal of affection.

As no one of us is perfect, so was not Mr. Mitric, but in our life involvement, we have reached the stage to be closer to that, so is Mr. Mitric. He knows his mistakes, he has seen the other side of life, for which he is willing to work to reimburse for past sins. And, I ask myself, isn’t that God’s way? He needs a place to cleanse himself, and become a human being for which we are created.

Finding sanctuary for Mr. Mitric, even though temporarily, would be a great help to the Serbian Freedom fighters, since he has information for us too. Both of our Nationalists have been dying in the same camps during the past World War II, and have many things in common. Mr. Mitric’s girlfriend in Holland is also of Jewish descent. She has been faithfully waiting for him in all these years of his imprisonment in Holland, and willing to travel with him wherever he goes. Why not give him sanctuary (even though temporarily) in the State of Israel, and get that very vital information of interest for the State of Israel?

As I look at the history of the world, and its nations, I do not see any other Nationals besides Jews and Serbs that have suffered the most. I ask myself, why couldn’t we find some way of togetherness, at least in crucial moments and cases like this.

Letter from M. Markovich of “The Serbian Herald” in Phoenix Arizona, USA to the Director of the FBI, likewise typed from the original in “The Serbian Army”.

“A LETTER TO THE DIRECTOR OF THE FBI

August 6, 1987

Dear Phil:

Reading this morning’s Arizona Republic and the alert was given to the FBI, that Iranians may be preparing terrorist activities against the U.S.A., at home and abroad. I thought it would be of interest to you [to learn] of last night’s (8/5/87) conversation with Slobodan Mitric h of which I have recorded a taped conversation.

Mr. Mitrich stressed that Amsterdam, Netherlands is a training camp in Europe.

They hired him to teach them in karate skills, since Mitrich was a champion in Karate in Europe, at one time. He also told me that among all the other nationalities: Middle Eastern and Europeans, are ten (10) Americans. They introduced themselves as members of the Klu Klux Klan (Nazis), but privately he learned that they are associated with the international ring of terrorists, of which Mitrich knows approximately 100. For most of them he has names and pictures, and pretty close information on who is financing them.

As a matter of fact, more than a year ago, Mitrich told me for the individual (see enclosed copy from the Arizona Republic) that this individual is or will be bound to the United States for red spy activities.

Therefore, there is no doubt in my mind, that he knows a lot about this. And, to be more specific, if I could remember, he told me that he was still in jail in Holland.

So much for now, and [I] will be very happy to share all and any future information.
