The following letter and the book mentioned in it were personally delivered by the publisher to security officers of Mr. Mohamed al-Fayed in the basement of Harrods in London a few days after the letter was written in May 2005. Until this time of writing (February 2010) no response has been forthcoming.

Dear Mr. Fayed,

Enclosed please find a copy of the book “Operation Twins” by Dr. Slobodan Mitric, presently World Director of Reserve Police-International, that I send you at the author’s request.

Dr. Mitric has assured me that he would be in a position to answer certain questions you might have in connection with the death of your son and Lady Diana. Even though he has not divulged any details in this regard, I feel quite strongly that he is uniquely qualified in this matter.
